The Next Chapter in 2025

What's new for 2025

Welcome to 2025!

Hope you had a great holiday season! We made it to a new year, and with that new goals, resolutions, and overall changes in life.

What are your goals or resolutions for the new year? Feel free to share with me.

As we step into 2025, it’s a great time to reflect on the past year and set intentions for the future. If you’re not sure where to start, these five questions might inspire some clarity:

  1. What do I want to KEEP doing this year?

  2. What do I want to IMPROVE this year?

  3. What do I want to START doing or doing more of this year?

  4. What do I want to STOP doing this year?

  5. What would you like to be celebrating 12 months from now? (1 thing)

What’s New - Some reflections and being vulnerable

New Clinic (Oregon)

The past couple of months have been a struggle - mentally, physically, and financially. Many of us are in the same boat, probably dealing with similar issues. The holiday season did not help. I had to make some decisions for myself and my private practice - Amigos Health. I need some stability and decrease my stress, therefore some changes needed to be made.

Starting this month (January 2025), I will be seeing patients at a new clinic where insurance can be used. This is the biggest obstacle that I kept facing - “Why don’t you take insurance?” While insurance companies don’t pay naturopathic doctors well in Oregon, and continue to dictate what can or can’t be done, each year limiting more to both patients and providers (labs, imaging, prescriptions), I have gone back into the insurance system so that I can serve more of my community.

The new clinic:

It is a great group of dedicated providers and staff, and I am happy to say I have joined their team of naturopathic doctors. I will still be providing primary care with a focus on men’s health and hormone therapies.

Amigos Health

Don’t worry—Amigos Health isn’t going anywhere! I’ll still offer limited Saturday appointments, perfect for those with busy weekday schedules. My hope is to continue growing this practice while fostering genuine friendships that is centered around the health and well-being of our amigos.

I need some help from you!  I’m looking to provide educational courses or men’s group thru the Amigos platform. So far I would like to provide monthly webinar on men’s health topics, and host a men’s group for accountability and socialization.

Men’s Group/Retreat

As part of my mission to support men’s health, I’m also launching a community-focused initiative to foster connection and accountability. It is known that loneliness and isolation can lead to poor mental health. This was made even more apparent during and after the c*v*d lockdowns. Men tend to have a few friends, hence the rise of men’s groups.

What is a men’s group? It is a community of men who come together to share, support, and encouraging each other.

With this men’s group, I’m hoping to create a community of like-minded men to share, support, encourage, and hold one another accountable. I envision hosting a men’s health retreat.

My question to you is - would you be interested in joining a men’s group?
